Folde is a contemporary neighbourhood restaurant located in Clapham, South London. Conceived as a relaxed and welcoming local destination, it offers an accessible yet design-led environment within a compact urban setting.
The interior adopts a restrained, material-led approach, combining warm timbers, natural tones and subtle textures to create a calm, cohesive environment. The result is a setting that feels warm and lively without being overstated, balancing simplicity with carefully layered detail.
Our furniture supports this understated design language through a palette of timber and upholstered elements that introduce warmth, comfort and durability. Our bespoke sofa on the upper level provides a distinctive focal point within the scheme, its rich tone adding depth to the otherwise neutral palette while reinforcing the restaurant’s relaxed, residential character.
The tables, selected in warm timber finishes, echo the language of the interior while offering durability for high-traffic use. Their simple, well-proportioned forms maintain the visual clarity of the space, while allowing for flexible configurations to suit different group sizes and dining styles. Clean-lined chairs and stools complement the architectural simplicity of the space, while softer seating adds a more relaxed, domestic feel. The mix of seating typologies allows for flexibility across both floors, supporting both casual and more intimate dining while maintaining a consistent, cohesive aesthetic throughout.
