The Project

The restaurant’s natural textures and finishes creates a cosy and atmospheric experience contrasting lighter feminine elegance of its Georgian building and the darker masculine craftsmanship of the medieval architecture found throughout the city, which is replicated in the design throughout.

On this project we worked closely with Guesthouse hotels in-house design team to bring the vision for York to life.

All of the tables were made bespoke to their specifications, & we developed detailed CAD drawings to ensure that all the intricacies of this fabulous design were followed precisely by our highly skilled team.

We created beautifully aged brass table tops which complimented the solid timber base which was stained in American walnut, which added an air of luxury to the overall scheme.

We’re particularly proud of the arched design on the bench (also bespoke) which matches the table design, creating an intimate dining experience with views out to the terrace.
