The Project

Set in the rural village of Aughton, a stone’s throw from Liverpool, facing a medieval lake and five acres of the countryside is a spectacular 16th-century manor house transformed into a high-end restaurant and boutique hotel.

Mark Birchall’s multi-award-winning restaurant utilises the full lower half of Moor Hall, including outhouses and a newly converted barn.

‘The Barn’ a treat in itself is a casual dining restaurant. View the case study here.

We are honored to play a part in Mark’s ambitious journey.

Working closely with the interior design team, Telegraph successfully created a venue that fits the brief identifying the perfect furniture to complement the open planned contemporary restaurant and traditional aspects of the lounge bar.

More details

On a guided tour all guests experience Mark’s culinary process as they explore the different areas of the manor house.

Keeping true to the values of Moor Hall we love the vision and clever modernisation of the different spaces which comfortably accommodate diners; helping to create the unique narrative experience.
